The Garmin MapSource 6.16.3 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version. MapSource has been dropped in favor of new Garmin products. One for fine weather which would typically take me the 'scenic' route, the other is for when the weather is not so good and I just want to 'get there'. Recalculationg is much faster, and adding routepoints or waypoints is really easy. It's very easy to get the route to follow the roads you want rather than the rather crude Shortest/Fastest option on the unit itself. MapSource is great for sitting at your PC and planning routes. I have some mapsource discs from ab old GPS unit (EMAP) - is it worth keeping?
